¶ PVYbookmarks Administrator Guide
As SysAdmin for your Organisation or your Family on your PVY@Home Appliance, you can define and change a few things for PVYbookmarks, both for the Default Appearance and Feature enabled, either globally or per user. You can also manage:
- Tags
- Auth-Tokens
- Feed-Tokens
- User Settings and Features
- Bookmark Assets
- Bookmarks
Please note, in a later release, the Settings and features you will manage on PVYcentral. You can filter, archive or delete in the list view.
¶ Tags
You can correct misspelled tags or merge tags, without loosing the context to each particular bookmark.
¶ Token Management
The token Management is intented for Security Reasons or Leave Management. If you have doubts, that a Feed URL Token is may compromised, since it has been used for external Automatisation Workflows, you can deactivate, delete or issue a new one for a particular user.

¶ Permission
PVYbookmarks supports 3 Permission Access Roles:
- Active
- Staff
- Admin
Active and Staff has to be set for every user who shall use the Application.
If you set the Role as Admin, you can define the Admin Permissions very granular. It can make sense in larger Organisations, to have more than one Admininstrative User, but not necessarerly with the full SysAdmin Permission. A maintained bookmark and tag collection is always worth striving for.

For the following Settings Overview, the bold one stands for reccommended.
- Theme: Auto, Dark, Light
- Bookmark date display: Relative, Absolut
- Bookmark Description Display: Inline, Seperate
- Bookmark Description max. Lines: 2 any number
- Bookmark Link Target: New page, Same page
- Webarchive Integration: Disabled, Enabled
- Tag search: Strict, Lazy
- Tag grouping: Alphabetical, Disabled
- Enable sharing: True,False
- Enable Public sharing: False (you can also define a special user for that)
- Enable Favicon Display: False, True
- Enable Preview Images: False, True
- Display URL: True,False
- Display “View” Bookmark Action: True, False
- Display “Edit” Bookmark Action: True, False
- Display “Archive” Bookmark Action: True, False
- Display “Remove” Bookmark Action: True, False
- Permanent Notes: True, False
- Enable automatic HTML Snapshots: True, False

¶ Auto tagging Rules
For certain URLs you can define the automatic creation of an Tag or Tag Set, and these will be indicated also in Browser Extension with the greyed out Note: AutoTags: Video as Example, so User knows, he doesn’t need to add he Tag “Video”. The Patterns follows the Syntax of:
URL.TLD Tag1 Tag2 Tag3
¶ Toasts
Tosts are being used to inform user on the Application View. It was initially designed to inform a larger audience about a Feature Change or new Implementation. We recommend to use that careful.
