¶ PVYbookmarks | Enable and use the Wayback Machine
The Internet Archiver, also known as the Wayback Machine, is almost so old as the Public Internet. Its saves a way internet websites and its content, including media such as images, files or videos for later review. It is a handy tool, even its slow due its massive usage and storage, for various reasons, to most common reasons are:
- Preserve a Snapshot for History reasons
- Preserve a Snapshot for Research reasons
If Sysadmin of your Organisation has enabled the “The Internet Archive” Feature, it will generate automatically beside of the local Snapshot an Snapshot to the Wayback Machine. If the URL has been captured there already, it will ad a new Snapshot from your PVYbookmarks Application with that given Time Stamp.
You can access always your Snapshot there over the Bookmark Detail view. You can play a Video of that URL, and see, what content or image or file got changed from the first time the URL got captured.
